Best wealth coaching for real estate agents and team leaders

Wealth coaching works on what you do with your money after you earn it. That means taxes, how your business is set up, what you buy, and a written plan for net worth and passive income. Production coaching, like Tom Ferry, Buffini or MAPS, works on earning more of it through leads, listings and team growth. Our view is that Be Wealthy fits agents and team leaders who already produce well and want to own more. If you still need more deals, hire a production coach first.

Fit

Who Be Wealthy is for, and who it isn't.

Brett coaches people who already make the money. If that isn't you yet, one of the other programs above is a better use of your budget.

A good fit

  • You've had several strong years in a row and own less than a lot of your clients do
  • You lead a team that makes money, and the profit isn't turning into property or investments
  • You own a few rentals and can't say for sure they're working
  • You want one person looking at taxes, entities and what you buy together, with someone holding you to a written plan

Not the right call

  • You want more listings, scripts and lead generation. Production coaching is the right call, and Tom Ferry, Buffini and MAPS all publish their prices.
  • Your team is the bottleneck, whether that's hiring, roles or margins. A team coach like Coach Ken, Icenhower or Workman is built for that.
  • You're still building steady production. Start with the free Get Free in 5 plan and the podcast.
  • You want someone to manage your money for you
How to choose

Six questions to answer before you sign.

  1. What is actually stuck?

If you need more deals, buy production coaching. If the deals are there and the money still disappears into taxes and lifestyle, that's a wealth problem.

  2. Do you run a team?

Team leaders have a second business to fix. Some coaches are built around team profit and structure, others around the solo agent.

  3. Does the coach own what they teach?

Ask a wealth coach what they own and how they bought it. Ask a production coach whether they still sell or lead a team.

  4. One on one, or a room?

Private coaching goes deep on your numbers. A mastermind gives you peers who are a few steps ahead. Some people need both.

  5. What does a year really cost?

Multiply the monthly price by twelve and add events and add-ons. Then compare it to what the program says it will change.

  6. Can you try it first?

Coach Ken sells a single $799 session. Be Wealthy lets you sit in on one mastermind event on a refundable $5,000 deposit. Ask every program what a trial looks like.

Questions

What agents ask about coaching.

What is the difference between wealth coaching and real estate coaching?

Most real estate coaching is production coaching. It helps you get more listings and closings with lead generation, scripts, schedules and team growth. Wealth coaching starts after the commission is paid. It covers taxes, how your business is set up, what you buy with the money, and a written plan for net worth and passive income. One works on how much you earn. The other works on how much of it you end up owning.

How much does a real estate wealth coach cost?

One-on-one wealth coaching with Brett Tanner at Be Wealthy is $36,000 a year. The Be Wealthy Mastermind is $15,000 a year, and you can attend one event first on a fully refundable $5,000 deposit. For comparison, the production and team coaching programs that publish prices run from $450 a month (MAPS Breakthrough) to $1,500 a month (Icenhower brokerage coaching). Workman Success Systems and Club Wealth do not publish prices on their sites.

Is Be Wealthy better than Tom Ferry?

They do different jobs. Tom Ferry's Core and Elite plans are built to grow production, with 24 or 48 private coaching sessions a year, and Tom Ferry also lists a self-paced money tool called Financial Foundations among its coaching benefits. If you want more listings and closings, Tom Ferry is the better pick. Be Wealthy is built for the step after that, which is turning income you already make into property and businesses you own. A lot of agents do production coaching first and wealth coaching later.

Who is the best wealth coach for real estate team leaders?

It depends on where the team is stuck. If the problem is the team itself, such as profit margins, structure or succession, team coaches like Coach Ken, Icenhower Coaching and Workman Success Systems work on that. If the team already makes money and you want that money to turn into assets you own, that is the work Brett Tanner does at Be Wealthy. Brett spent more than 20 years in real estate, sold over $2 billion of it, and built teams that ran without him.

Can I do production coaching and wealth coaching at the same time?

Yes. They don't overlap much, since one works on how many deals you close and the other on what happens to the money after closing. If budget forces a choice, fix production first when your income is still uneven. Pick wealth coaching first when income is steady and the money keeps disappearing.

Is Be Wealthy coaching only for Keller Williams agents?

No. One-on-one coaching with Brett and the Be Wealthy Mastermind are open to agents at any brokerage, and to investors and business owners. Keller Williams agents can also join the KW Wealth Mastermind for $12,000 a year. MAPS Coaching is a separate program, built for Keller Williams agents and focused on growing the business.

Is a wealth coach the same as a financial advisor?

No. Be Wealthy does not manage your money or sell you investments. Brett coaches you on the decisions, such as what to buy, how to set up your business, what to do about taxes and spending, and how to track whether a property is earning its keep. You still use your own CPA, attorney and advisor to carry those decisions out.
